Sarah Palins radical speech
From Obama as Hitler to Sarah Palin's radical speech, Wingnuts author John Avlon reports all weekend from Nashville. Click here for more on John Avlon's new book.
Sarah Palin's rousing speech looked more like a State of the Union address—and the crowd loved every word. But, John Avlon reports, it wasn't enough to steer the group's uncertain future.
The National Tea Party Convention ended with a Palin for President rally.
This was always slated to be the weekend's main event, with a $100,000 prize purse. But the organizers still hadn't seen a copy of the speech as the crowd streamed into the banquet ballroom. What they got was less a Tea Party manifesto than Sarah Palin's State of the Union speech—an address to a domestic spending protest group which spent its first 15 minutes focused on foreign policy.
It didn't matter. With plenty of anti-Obama red meat and Palin's patented folksy-sarcasm, this crowd was rapturous about just being in her presence. She remains the Queen of the Conservative Populists.
The Tea Partiers, munching on a decidedly non‑populist steak and shrimp dinner, were geared up. Seated at my table were two Revolutionary War re‑enactors in full regalia as well as an aspiring Republican congressional candidate from Oklahoma and an independent-conservative Senate candidate from Arkansas. When the time came time for toasts with our water glasses "Death to tyrants" was chosen.

911 Working Group Presents | 9/11: Evidence, Motive & Opportunity
Friday, October 9, 2009
Response to 9/11 Commission staff member Miles Kara
Dear Mr. Kara,
Thank you for your "Open Letter to the 9-11 Working Group of Bloomington." As a member of that group, I'm glad to see you express interest in our work and I appreciate your invitation to further discuss the 9/11 Commission report in a public forum. It's unfortunate that you're not willing to engage in Q&A, however, as the questions are many and, to this day, the answers are very few. It is also unfortunate that you are not willing to debate the facts, because we would be happy to have you come to Bloomington for a public debate. But a dialogue of any sort is a welcome start.
For six years now, I've been focused on the work of the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) and the ongoing independent investigation into what happened at the World Trade Center (WTC). The WTC reports finally generated by NIST have been shown to be dismally weak, highly inconsistent, and completely false. Frankly the NIST reports are a shameful excuse for science. Add to this the independent discovery of explosive residues in the WTC dust, which NIST did not test for or even consider, and we must suspect that a cover-up has been intended with regard the events of 9/11.
Although I have not had as much time to evaluate the 9/11 Commission report, my understanding is that it too is mostly, if not entirely, false. This is evident from the very start, where the report states its primary aim to "provide the fullest possible accounting of the events surrounding 9/11." It is now widely known that many of the most important events of 9/11 were never mentioned in the 9/11 Commission report at all, let alone presented in the fullest possible accounting. These complete omissions include the destruction of WTC building 7, the testimony of FBI whistleblower Sibel Edmonds, Secretary of Transportation Norman Mineta's testimony concerning the Vice President and the approach of Flight 77, the connections between al Qaeda and the Pakistani ISI, and many other examples. A number of the omissions and distortions in your report have been detailed by Dr. David Ray Griffin in an easy to reference book.
Considering these facts, our group's excitement about your offer to collaborate with us is tempered by the suspicion that you might continue to engage in the same "exacting investigative work" that the Commission report attributes to you. For my own part, this suspicion is aggravated by your stated appreciation for Joel Hirschhorn, who you claim is "value added." My experience with Hirschhorn, someone I've met and presented with, is that he does not strive for a "paradigm shift" by any means. In fact, he appears to promote a futile pandering to the status quo that would result in the 9/11 Truth movement becoming as useless as a concrete parachute. Worse yet, Hirschhorn was involved with misrepresenting an honest group of investigators and promoting a poorly considered draft bill for Congress that called for investigation of WTC theories that literally no one supports.
Therefore I'm not encouraged by your suggestion that we subscribe to a new three-part plan of action, which in fact is not new. There have been countless attempts at engaging corporate media sources in reporting the basic facts about 9/11, and most of those attempts have failed. There have also been a number of 9/11 lawsuits filed, and to date, all of those have been rejected before the evidence could be discovered or presented. Finally, there have been many attempts to reach Congress with the facts. The 9/11 Working Group has met with the staff of our own congressman, and also with our former congressman, 9/11 Commission co-chair Lee Hamilton. Unlike you, Mr. Hamilton was not opposed to a new investigation, and he gave us a long list of excuses for why your 9/11 Commission investigation report was not sufficient.
We can no longer afford to ask our politicians and media to cure our corrupt system. It is the corporate media itself, and the corporate-funded politicians that maintain the corrupt system, and that are the problem. We must rebuild our media and our government, and the truth about 9/11 has the power to do just that. In doing so we will need to be aware, as you wrote, of "the frauds, opportunists, and paper millers who serve primarily as a major distraction."
This brings me to John Farmer and his new book, which I agree does not intend to state that the 9/11 Commission report is completely false. To the contrary, although I have not read the book I understand from others that its approach is much the same as that of the Commission's report. I learned this through attorney John Ekonomou, who wrote to Farmer a few weeks ago and later copied me on his message. Ekonomou purchased the Farmer book and was appalled at how quickly he realized that it was a "flat-out misrepresentation" of the facts.
But getting back to the struggle for truth, and your offer to help, we should see if there is common ground as you mentioned. You say that an event occurred on 9/11, and you call it a terrorist attack. Having met many of the Americans around the country who are alarmed by the lack of truth about 9/11, I can tell you that this appraisal is shared by almost all of them. We know it was a terrorist attack. What we don't know is: Who were the terrorists?
You can help us continue building an honest answer to that question. As you're no doubt aware from our website, our group has received a number of Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) responses from government agencies. Some of those responses are enlightening, while others are not particularly useful due to the ongoing lack of transparency surrounding the events of 9/11, and the extreme redaction that is involved. But among the documents we received, we have noticed many facts that do not support your Commission's report, and we've noticed a number of surprising things that should have been in your report but were not.
Starting out in a small way, let's talk about "We have some planes." Can you tell us where this phrase originated from, in terms of records made by air traffic controllers or others involved in the events of 9/11, and how you attributed it to the alleged hijackers? It is the title of one of the chapters of the 9/11 Commission report, and I believe you have taken credit for that analysis to some degree.
With a small step such as this, I think we might be able to begin working together for the benefit of all.
Sincerely,
Kevin R. Ryan

Why is the Mainstream Media not Demanding the Truth About 9/11?
1. Former FBI Translator and Whistleblower Sibel Edmonds has exposed, among many other disturbing revelations, that Osama bin Laden and "Al Qaeda" (which simply means "the base") were working with government intelligence operatives right up until the morning of 9/11 (and perhaps beyond):
http://amconmag.com/article/2009/nov/01/00006/
2. The 9/11 Commission Report has been exposed as almost entirely untrue by John Farmer, the Dean of Rutgers School of Law--Newark who served as Senior Counsel to the Commission:
http://media-newswire.com/release_1098894.html
3. No reasonably intelligent and rational individual could possibly watch the full two hours of this video and still honestly believe everything the American government has told its citizens about the events of 11 September 2001:
http://www.ae911truth.org/flashmov11.htm
4. The 9/11 Truth Movement ebbs and flows ... losing credibility with each Alex Fox media stunt and every (planted?) Icke-ish nut claiming alien lizard people or Apocalyptic demons are to blame ... then regaining momentum whenever one more brave citizen opens their mind to the harsh facts and horrible ramifications of what the truth might be, and demands an unbridled investigation knowing they will be called "kook" or "communist" by scared Sheeple seeking to maintain the bliss of ignorance. This will go on, ad nauseum and forever, until the Truth of 9/11 is fully investigated and openly exposed.
So again I ask, why is the mainstream media not demanding the truth about 9/11?
Whatever happened to investigative journalism?

Comments (1) Wasserman Author of SOLARTOPIA! Our Green-Powered Earth Posted: September 8, 2009 11:22 AM Obama Has Fed His Green Jones to King CONG Van Jones has been fed to King CONG (Coal, Oil, Nukes & Gas). Obama's one serious green bright spot been sacrificed at the McCarthyite altar of the corporate bloviation machine. The brilliant, charismatic Jones was responsible for the administration's single significant accomplishment to date. With clarity and verve Jones finally brought to the mainstream the critical message that what's good for the environment is also good for the economy. The convenience of this simple truth has long been known to the green power movement. Since the early 1970s we have argued that converting away from fossil and nuclear fuels -- coal, oil, nukes & gas -- and onto a Solartopian system based on renewables and efficiency is the only route to long-term prosperity. With community-based solar, wind, tidal, geothermal, mass transit, increased efficiency and conservation, we can and must build a sustainable economy that will create jobs and geo-political stability. An early articulation of this green-powered vision came at the "Toward Tomorrow" Fair at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, in 1975. As the "No Nukes" movement was just gathering grassroots steam, we envisioned a community-based Solartopian energy system that would guarantee full employment and a survivable planet. For the next quarter century, the No Nukes movement helped drive atomic energy into its economic and ecological black hole. As fossil fuels became ever more unsustainable, the vision took shape. Wind, solar and efficiency technologies boomed ahead. But the multi-trillion-dollar fossil/nuke industry is nothing if not entrenched. Throughout the Reagan-Bush-Clinton-Bush nightmare it made common wisdom of the Big Lie that saving the environment meant economic sacrifice. In fact, except for King CONG's short-term mega-profits, the opposite has always been true. Van Jones finally broke through. As an informed, exciting and compelling presenter, Jones made clear that the "green collar economy" is tangible and terrific. In his writings, mass meetings, television and legislative testimony, Jones turned the corner on the message that what's good for the environment is not only good for the economy, it's essential. Appearing with the likes of Robert Redford on Larry King, and much more, Jones finally injected into the mainstream the message that there will be no prosperity, no full employment, and no survivable planet without the necessary and do-able conversion to a green-powered Earth. With Jones running point, Obama has in fact made millions of critical dollars available for renewable energy. The Stimulus Package does include a significant sector of cash for those wishing to bring wind, photovoltaics and other Solartopian systems into their home, office and industrial energy mix. But we've seen this before. Jimmy Carter took halting steps up the Solartopian highway in the late 1970s. Tens of thousands of green jobs were created in California and elsewhere. The Ronald Reagan ripped the solar water heater off the White House roof and Gov. George Deukmejian killed Gov. Jerry Brown's tax credit program. The industry went into a tailspin, those thousands of jobs disappeared, and America's dependency on foreign oil soared out of control. With Jones gone we have to worry that Obama might now repeat history. The pretext for forcing Jones out was pathetic. Like millions of Americans he signed a petition asking for an investigation into the 9/11 felling of the World Trade Center. He used the dreaded term "asshole" to accurately describe some Republicans, and then used it to describe himself and his friends. He may have said some things that some right winger might've construed as racist. Did he kill someone? Did he engage in torture? Did he steal money? Is he a lousy parent? This is McCarthyism at its most lethal, and administrative timidity at its most dangerous. If groveling to the corporate bloviators is Obama's strategy for making change, we are in deep deep trouble. In fact Van Jones, as imperfect as the rest of us, was Obama's critical firestarter in a green-powered revolution that is decades overdue. While the likes of Glenn Beck can crow over his demise, it's the gargantuan King CONG barons of fossil/nuke who are really in the saddle. Pushing Van Jones aside is a major coup for the destroyers of the planet, and a big loss for those of us who would re-power and save it. We will, of course, continue to fight against fossil and nuclear power and for a green-powered Earth. But as it has been for decades, the going is rough. Will this administration really be with us? Harvey Wasserman's Solartopia: Our Green-Powered Earth is at www.harveywasserman.com. In 1973 he helped coin the phrase "No Nukes." more gems from David Corn- excerpt: As far as I can tell, the only thing the so-called 9/11 Truth movement has accomplished is this: it's caused the Obama administration to lose its most prominent expert on green jobs. So well done, Truthers. Thanks to you, the federal government will now be spending about $80 billion on green economy initiatives without the guiding hand of one of the most knowledgeable experts in this field. from the comments section: I basically agree with Chomsky. I think it would be good for the truthers to listen to this and answer the tough questions Chomsky raises about 9/11 truth and it's possible less than noble purposes. It might also be good to look up the history and uses Stalin and Hitler made of conspiracy theories. They loved them so they could justify their atrocities and seize power. Do you really think Hitler would approve of a mixed race left leaning US President?? LOL! Get a grip!!! And a clue!! Let's see what they censor--!!! See below: Posted on Fri, Sep. 11, 2009 9/11 museum solicits the public's storiesBy Henry Goldman Bloomberg News NEW YORK - Officials at the National September 11 Memorial & Museum, being built on the site of the World Trade Center, said they want people worldwide to submit 9/11 images, video, and personal stories to the institution's Web site. The unrestricted digital archive at www.911history.org, dubbed "Making History," permits anyone to contribute material. Offensive content may be flagged by others viewing the site. Memorial employees would determine whether it should be censored, museum president Joe Daniels said. "Public participation is critical to building the historical record of the events of 9/11," Daniels said at a news conference yesterday across from the construction site in lower Manhattan. The site, he said, "will create a collective history of 9/11 through those who experienced it, both at the attack sites and around the world." The memorial grounds, scheduled to open Sept. 11, 2011, will fill eight acres, or half the original trade center footprint, and will feature 400 oak trees surrounding two memorial reflecting pools approximating where the two destroyed towers stood. Planners intend to open the museum on the grounds on Sept. 11, 2012, Daniels said. A decision has not been made on whether or how to display the most horrific images of the catastrophe, he said, caused when two passenger jets hijacked by al-Qaeda terrorists slammed into the towers on Sept. 11, 2001. In all, 2,752 people were killed. The 125,000-square-foot museum will offer 96,000 square feet of exhibit space at bedrock; 71 feet under street level, including a 37-foot-tall steel beam that withstood the attack; and the "Survivors' Stairway," concrete steps that hundreds of workers used to escape one of the towers after it was struck and that remained intact, museum director Alice Greenwald said. The names of 2,982 victims - including 184 who perished at the Pentagon outside Washington; 40 who died on hijacked United Flight 93, which crashed near Shanksville, Pa., and six killed in a 1993 attack on the trade center - will be on walls surrounding the reflecting pools. "We have an extraordinary opportunity and an obligation to remember well," Greenwald said. "So that the events of 9/11 can not only be commemorated, but so that in remembering them, we can begin to imagine the kind of world we want to live in." ***** ***** ****** ****** ******** |

The Feal Good Foundation is a federally recognized 501 (c) 3 organization, that was created by John Feal, a 9/11 first responder who has developed respiratory illness called "The World Trade Center Cough" John's belief in community and helping people in need is strong, as In 2007 John donated a kidney in a "triple kidney transplant. Please help provide John and the other 9/11 first responders the desperate medical care, prescription medication and other much needed help by hosting a car wash in your area.
Official Fliers, posters and banners will be available for download in the photos section @ http://2ndresponders.ning.com/profile/MichaelWhite, take your disc to the local print shop or Staples and have a b/w banner made for under $10.
Helpful Hints for a successful car wash.
1.) Location, location, location. We've all heard this before and that is because it is true. Find a very high traffic area with enough space to work safely and comfortably. If the business owner says no, ask another and another, until you find one and you will find one.
2.) Advertise your Car Wash in several mediums, post it on all of your social networking sites, craigslist "Events" and "Barter" page. I.e. Will trade car wash for a donation to the sick and dying 9/11 first responders. Give out a press release to your local broadcast stations, post up fliers, try community bulletin boards etc.
3.) Have at least 2-4 people holding signs about the car wash.
4.) Set a goal and have one person with an erasable sign, displaying to prospective customers and passers by, your goal with a running total of donations so far.
5.) If you contact small business owners, you can likely have all or at least some of your supplies donated.
6.) Have at least two people in charge of the money and send it A.S.A.P to the Feal Good Foundation or postmarked no later than September 30th, 2009.
7.) This event is being organized by a 9/11 Truther, the treatment of our national heroes is a national disgrace and is only further evidence that our government does not care to do anything but hamper the truth, even if it means letting our eyewitness' to the truth die horrible, unjustly and untimely deaths.
8.) Feel free to pass out "Truth Information", although today's message is to put the victims at the forefront "Honor the Victim's" by supporting 9/11 Truth.
9.) Thank you in advance for your compassion and your time, I want to live in an America that takes care of their sick and fallen, especially our troops and first responders. I want to live in an America that seeks the truth and holds those responsible, however, slight or great, to account.
10.) Please make this project go viral, make a video presentation for the web the first responders need it. Spread the message far and wide. Let's make this event more than memorable, let's make a tangible difference and get these heroes the help that they so desperately need.
Thanks,
Michael White
Organizer
